Many thanks to Paul Napolitano of Alexander Wall Corp., Gotham’s own Building Restoration and Environmental rescue squad, for a surprisingly (!) entertaining and informative seminar on Building Science - the control of water intrusion and mold in commercial and residential properties, and the construction of durable buildings for the future.
 
Dr. Joseph Lstiburek, Ph.D., P.Eng., was the featured speaker, a Canadian with a wicked sense of humor, and some hard-hitting perspectives. Dr. Joe has appeared on PBS and Nova, and he spoke to us about global economic and environmental trends in the context of smart building practices. Whether you agreed or disagreed with his vision of “How to Save the Planet and Provide Energy Security,” he made the audience think, and you couldn’t argue with his expertise.
