Hi Gotham,

 

As many of you may know blood cancer touched my family so I am committed
to helping this cause.   I am asking you to take a moment to help New
York's Blood Cancer Patients.  Today, I don't need to ask for anything
more than a letter or a call from you to Senator Bruno -no money, no
walks, no pledges (but thanks to those who did and do!).

 

Gotham is 500 voices strong and counting - please let the Senate know
you support this legislation which will place a "check-off box" on the
New York State individual and corporate income tax returns, allowing New
Yorkers to contribute to the support of this program.

weeks the New York State Senate will vote on Bill S3097 to establish a
fund for Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma Research, Education and
Treatment.  The fund would benefit all those battling blood cancers.
This legislation will place a "check-off box" on the New York State
individual and corporate income tax returns, allowing New Yorkers to
contribute to the support of this program.  

Please take a moment to do one of two things (or even both if you like).
Call Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno's office today, tell him you
support Senate Bill S3097, and urge him to move it to the full Senate
for a floor vote.  His number is 518-455-3191. Or click here,
