[Fredslist] Fred Klein Spoke at the Hilton Yesterday

>Yesterday was a banner day at the NYSAE Hilton event when Fred Klein spoke about Gotham. 
>
>Fred spoke at the New York Society of Association Executives 'I Love New York Day' and told those attending the session "360 Networking: Effective Networking Techniques for Person and Professional Success" what Gotham was all about and how he started his fabulous networking group. He did a great job!
>
>Linda 'Queenie' Newman was there right in the front to cheer him on. 
>
>Fred stated that he agreed with a previous speaker in the panel that the purpose of networking is TO GIVE, which is exactly in line with the mantra of Gotham.
>
>I moderated this session that I had put together for the NYSAE's Education Committee.
>
>It was a fabulous day with Mayor Dinkins giving out awards to noteworthy New Yorkers at the wonderful luncheon provided to attendees, complete with entertainment.
>
>Also, Mohegan Sun is a major sponsor of this organization and in 2005, this organization had the annual retreat at that facility. I attended that event and they just treated guests royally. It is a very upscale facility to visit and Fred mentioned at lunch that maybe Gothamites could consider forming a group to go on a trip to visit that facility. Fred believes that Mohegan Sun would be the perfect place for the 'TRIBE' to explore. 
 Here we go...Fred and his imagination is what makes this group a GREAT GROUP to belong to. Could we get a discount he asked????
>One never knows what experiences lie ahead, but I am confident that they will be enjoyable. 

>Yesterday, there was a vendor show and opportunities for networking later in the day, and a wonderful reception with wine and food to round out the day.
