Global Account Manager (or Director)/Senior Consultant

Compensation:

*         Base salary, plus bonus, once target billings are exceeded.

Objective:

We want to find an enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated, intelligent, and
collaborative account manager and recruiter who works hard and writes well,
who has or can quickly develop a passion for design, and most importantly,
can develop meaningful relationships with clients to lead multiple retained
search engagements for large corporate clients looking for top design
management candidates for worldwide opportunities. Our clients include some
of the world's leading corporations and consulting design firms. Our office

General Responsibilities:

*         Work with members of company management to develop strategy for
assigned searches 

*         Learn the RSSR search and fulfillment methodology and help make
the process more efficient, effective and profitable

*         Develop relationships with clients and candidates that reflect
well on the company, working with them to develop a deep understanding of
their needs and motivations

*         Find candidates who are matches for positions quickly and
efficiently

*         Lead, mentor, supervise less senior recruiters, consultants and
researchers

Day-to-day Responsibilities

*         Manage and document search progress.

*         Develop compelling position description, and post on relevant
sites and in appropriate publications.

*         Develop search-specific research strategy - develop target company
list, list of sources of potential candidates and "sources" (people who lead
to potential candidates), including publications, online communities,
conference speaker and attendee list, professional organization membership
lists, etc.

*         Search our and other databases for potential candidates.

*         Manage internal search team members and external research
resources in name generation and prequalification.

*         Report search progress on a weekly basis.

*         Keep database up-to-date, including creating records for new
candidates and sources.

*         Qualify potential candidates, coordinating all RSSR/candidate
interviews - telephone, in-person, webcam

*         Prepare and send to client appropriate candidate information,
including work samples, executive profiles and resumes

*         Coordinate client and candidate interviews

*         Prepare candidates for client interviews, including research on
the company and industry, coaching on presentation, etc.

*         Negotiate to close, including compensation package, relocation
package, and start date

Requirements

*         6-15 years experience in design and/or recruitment, with at least
2 in retained executive search, and significant experience in major account
management

*         Experience in industrial design, user interface, digital media,
marketing and/or communications a plus.

*         Must have a bachelor's degree.

*         Excellent communication, relationship building, and client and
project management skills.

*         Interested in how design and innovation are transforming the way
companies are doing business.
