Thanks, Phil, for your kind comments and useful summary (below).  I
appreciate all the contributions that you and particularly Mitch Tobol
("have laptop, will travel") made to planning and executing the event (and I
also note Sarah Stambler's welcome active participation during the meeting)
-- without all of that, it'd have been something far less than it turned out
to be. 
 
At this morning's Gotham Legal meeting on L.I., it was determined that we
should offer a repeat of the program on Long Island.  There was a
considerable expression of interest among those attending today's breakfast
meeting, so I want to announce that we are soliciting attendees for a
similar Gotham SEO Roundtable meeting to be held on L.I., probably in
February (or March).  Please e-mail me offlist if you would like to attend.
-- no knowledge of SEO is required.  I'll add your names to the list.  If we
get sufficient interest, we'll present the program again, or something
similar. 
 
All Gothamites are welcome, regardless of level of familiarity with SEO
(Search Engine Optimization), which generally involves the art and science
dedicated to getting your website (or blog) to rank high in Google and other
search engines.  Existing knowledge is optional, interest is encouraged.  

This will be a basic level discussion, at the level of the "lowest common
denominator," including some "do-it-yourself" ideas based on the practical
experiences of Gotham members, and some input from those more expert in SEO
procedures and their marketing context. We also anticipate having a laptop
demo to illustrate some of the concepts. 

I look forward to hearing from all those who are interested.
