[Fredslist] Insurance and Zoning help needed - URGENT

OK Gotham - this one's for you
 
A very good friend's house in Centerport burned down a few months  ago.  His 
insurance company is Shelby-Vesta.  They are giving him a  very hard time.  
They required him to use a particular fire remediation  contractor - who did a 
very poor job and left him with a major mold  problem.  As a result of the 
failure of the remediation contractor - he  needs them to now tear down the house 
so it can be reconstructed.  Of  course, he will then fall under new zoning 
laws that will require him to  reconstruct differently than he had the house 
before (at increased  expense)
 
Does anyone have a good contact at Shelby Vesta?  Can someone help him  with 
the insurance company or with dealing with the Centerport zoning  authorities?
 
He is a really great guy, but this is also the primary asset of his family  - 
so they don't have a lot of money to deal with all this aggravation and they  
need to be back in their own home.  
 
The mold is making his wife sick and the stress is helping no one.
 
Any assistance would be really welcome.
