[Fredslist] Looking for Oprah Winfrey, Magic Johnson, or Reggie Miller

All,

Does anyone have a powerful contact either with Oprah Winfrey, Magic
Johnson, or Reggie Miller?  I think one of these three might find the
following project intriguing.

As many of you know I produce/direct documentaries for the History Channel,
Discovery Channel, etc.  About a year and a half ago, Fred Klein and I had
the privilege of filming a sit down interview with fellow Gothamite and
basketball legend John Isaacs.  John, who just turned ninety years old,
played for the 1939 championship Harlem Renaissance basketball team-- the
first all black played/coached/owned team-- well before the inception of the
NBA.  John was one of the first high school basketball phenoms to go
directly to the pros.  This year he made the final list of potential
inductees into the Basketball Hall of Fame.  For some crazy reason, he was
passed over.

In addition to this sit down interview, I filmed with John at the Madison
Square Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx where he has been working for forty
years.  Incredible as it seems, I have film footage of this lucid,
articulate, elegant ninety-year old man shooting hoops.

I have edited together thirteen minutes of the footage into a "selects
reel."  History Channel has seen it and is very interested in funding part
of the film, in addition to broadcasting it for a certain amount of time.
But before they "officially" sign on, the rest of the funds need to be in
place.

Any help would be much appreciated.
