Hello Along The Network,

I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy the glorious weather over the glorious July 4th weekend.

Well, this is it! After working on projects with NYC2012 for the past two years, it's all over or just beginning,
depending on the decision the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announces from Singapore in just about
15 hours from now. You are invited to join in on all the excitement.

Beginning at 5:00 PM this evening, NYC2012 will be hosting a global Olympic Decision Day Block Party in
Rockefeller Plaza, in the area right above the outdoor café. We'll be pulling a "Jerry Lewis" and will be out in the
Plaza until tomorrow morning, when the IOC will announce the host city for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games
at 7:30 AM, New York time. The announcement will be seen in the Plaza, live from Singapore.

A highlight of this evening's festivities will be the final presentations of each candidate city, broadcast live from
Singapore. Paris is scheduled to make their final presentation tonight at 9:00 PM. New York City is scheduled
to make its final presentation tonight at 10:30 PM. This presentation will include the short film that was shot at
various locations around New York, the final location for the film being Brooklyn Heights.

Throughout the block party, there will be giveaways and entertainment, including a special appearance by Three
Doors Down.

What are New York's chances to win its bid? As the IOC balloting started, Paris was considered the front-runner,
with London second and New York in third place. But because of the way the IOC balloting process works, it is
possible for a candidate city's position to improve significantly by the time the balloting ends. In fact, of the past 9
Olympic bids to occur, the city considered to be the front-runner when the balloting started was not selected by the
IOC to host an Olympics 7 times. So, New York's bid is in very good position. The IOC was very impressed with
what they saw when they made their evaluation visit to New York City in February.

I spoke on the phone with a friend of mine in Perth, Australia just a few hours ago. She says Sydney is still buzzing
over the excitement that the Summer Olympics brought to their city. She wishes New York the best of luck for
enjoying some of that same Olympic excitement.

Once again, the big Olympic Decision Day Block Party starts in Rockefeller Plaza at 5:00 PM this evening and runs
until early tomorrow morning. Come out and keep your fingers crossed with us.

Have a good evening, Gotham.

Hope to see you in the Plaza.
